About an hour north of Playa Del Carmen, the city of Cancun is the gateway to adventure. In this case we took a tour to Isla Contoy, an important nature preserve for a variety of sea birds, hermit crabs, iguanas and snakes. The water is crystal clear and great for snorkeling.
